Express yourself!

Here's a picture of my granddaughter, Ellie, expressing her love and admiration (and desire to kiss) my grandson, Spencer. She adores him.

Life is short - it seems to be going by so fast. I just hate it that we (as a general public) seem to get so caught up in the "maintaining" of our lives, that we forget to live them. Why are we really here, anyway? So, my suggestion for today is for us all to "loosen up" a little - not be so worried if the house is spotless and the laundry all folded - if you love someone, tell them. We can never hear that too much anyway, as insecure as we all seem to be! Call someone or send them a card to let them know you're thinking of them - I guarantee, whenever someone gets something like that in the mail, a smile crosses their face. If you appreciate something about someone, tell them. That doesn't make you weak, it makes you kind, honest, and someone who acknowledges that we all have different giftings. So let's take a lesson from Ellie today, and not worry about looking silly or being judged or stared at - let's take the time to express ourselves!
