Ran over to The Cooler last night for open mic (stayed only a couple hours because I am old, you know!) and got to hear some good musicians. There was guy in the crowd who brought his tenor sax, my brother Jim got coerced into playing a couple (even though he "conveniently" didn't bring his guitar - Patrick loaned him one!) and Dave Frye had out the "big bass". Patrick, of course, has a wonderful voice, and Robert (the mailman) has an extraordinary gift for playing. Given my music background, it is always enjoyable to hear good music, but also to get to see people enjoying music and working together to produce great sounds. Thanks guys!
